Extending the life of mature gas fields poses serious dilemmas for the oil industry. The necessary revamping of compressor plants requires high CAPEX to maintain operation.
At the Aguada Pichana field, Total Austral called on us to overcome the dilemma between CAPEX and productivity. Through our company Galileo Rental, we installed a Microskid Process MX 200 Wellhead Compressor Package in the well.
Without immobilizing assets or allocating personnel, Total Austral achieved a unit flow rate of 27,000 m3 of Argentine gas per day per installed unit thanks to this solution.
